Midwifery care
Cindy has over 30 years of experience providing evidence based, compassionate care. She provides obstetrical risk assessments and co-management of moderate risk patients to licensed midwives in Arkansas.
In addition, Cindy is available for telephone consultations and prescriptions appointments to assist both lay midwives and their clients if they are wanting to avoid the ER, Urgent Care, or the Health Department.
Cindy aims to bridge the gap between clients and their medications. She believes this will be valuable for community midwives who need to obtain RhoGAM, Vitamin K, Prophylactic eye medication, antibiotics, GBS antibiotics, progesterone, antihemorrhagics, and birth control.

Procedure
Contact Cindy via phone or text message that you have a patient who would like to schedule a risk assessment (RA). Send records via HIPPA compliant fax and Cindy will contact the client to schedule a visit. I will fax the completed risk assessment to you once I have the visit completed.
Cindy prefers to do the 36-week RA with the client and CPM during the home visit so she can visualize you doing the assessment for telemedicine requirements on my part. This is done using HIPPA compliant Zoom. Once GBS results are forwarded, the risk assessment will be returned to you via fax.

Prescription Process
Cindy can prescribe any suitable medications for clients including controlled schedule 3, 4, 5 medications. The client need not wait until their initial risk assessment, I would rather get them started on early Zofran for N/V of pregnancy, especially since I hate to see them end up in the ER for fluids. I also would like to get them started early on progesterone if they have a history of spontaneous miscarrages to mainatin the uterine lining until the placenta kicks in. The prescription is sent to the client's pharmacy of choice and should be ready in 1-2 hours. Cindy can prescribe and obtain GBS prophylaxis medications to be delivered to your client's home through Vital Care.

Cindy uses Quest lab and can order any labs indicated so insurance can pick up the bill instead of the client. Any services provided by aby me are reimbursable through insurance (I provide a superbill), can be used against HSA, or clients can use an HSA card to pay here on my website and will receive a detailed superbill with all CPT and ICD-10 Coding necessary.
